Add a new Event

To add an event to the calendar, you must be registered and signed in. If you click the "More Events" link on the right hand side of the Mindat Directory, this will bring up the entire listing. There is a link on the bottom of the event page "Add an entry to the calendar by clicking here." that will allow you to add a new event.

The categories of events are

1. Public Gem/Mineral Show
2. Trade Gem/Mineral Show - (Wholesale resale license is usually required to enter/sign up for this event)
3. Organized Collecting trip
4. Quarry/mine open day
5. Other Special event - This can include symposiums, special exhibits at museums, etc.

The other fields are explained on the form and include venue, dates, contacts, and description.
